Biography

Tae Yun obtained his PhD in Physics from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 2020, where he studied the phase transition of two-dimensional antiferromagnetic materials based on density functional theory. After the completion of his PhD he was at the Center for Correlated Electrons Systems in Institute for Basic Science, South Korea. He joined the Oden Institute in 2024 and he is working with Prof. Feliciano Guistino as a postdoctoral fellow. His research interests include studying the effects of the electron-phonon interaction, particularly in transport, and developing an efficient implementation of EPW (https://epw-code.org), an ab-initio code for computing material properties related to the electron-phonon physics.
